Macquarie Anaesthetics is a group practice of specialist doctors in Sydney who are highly trained in the areas of anaesthesia, intensive care, pain and around the time of surgery medicine. In addition to this, the group has a high profile in anaesthesia administration, teaching, mentorship and continuing medical education.

Each doctor acts independently within the group determining their own practice structure and fees. Full-time secretarial staff are essential to communicate with patients and other medical specialists and their practices. Telephone, fax, e-mail and the internet are all used to assist patients peri-operatively to co-ordinate their increasingly complex anaesthetic and surgical care.
